
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11th at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles “Sonny” Lonergan and Edward “Ed” Lonergan.īev will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Friday, February 10th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. She is also survived by a daughter Lisa Bredemeier and her husband Paul and their children, Lillian "Lily", Laura and Jeremy all of Overland Park, Kansas, a son Lee Aaron Schwartz of Denver, Colorado, her sister Charlene Kaufmann of Jacksonville, Illinois, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sue and Craig Feger of Springfield, Illinois as well as many nieces and nephews.

She also participated with her husband’s Shriner’s activities and was a volunteer for Midland Hospice Care.īev married Lee Schwartz in Springfield, Illinois on June 30, 1967. She was a former member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, and her faith was very important to her. Bev was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church where she assisted with funeral dinners. Her favorite times were the ones she spent with her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved feeding the birds, spending time with her cats, and planting flowers in her yard. She had previously run Schwartz Floor Care and was a real estate agent with Kirk and Cobb Realtors. Bev was a graduate of Routt High School in Jacksonville, Illinois.īev retired from Key Staffing where she worked as an Administrative Assistant. She was born in Jacksonville, Illinois on January 10, 1946, the daughter of Charles and Aliene (Austin) Lonergan.

Beverly Joan “Bev” Schwartz, 77, of Topeka, passed away unexpectedly at her home on January 30, 2023.
